Article One to One’s work!

I had heard of BNI and the potential benefits it can bring to businesses, but was also aware that the IFA position was always a hotly contested one in Chapters. I was therefore very happy to be called out of the blue by a member and being asked to attend a meeting at the Walker Chapter (Brislington) as his guest.

Having joined in December, I have found the group to be very welcoming and the meetings a worthwhile use of my time. Even more so, the one to one meetings with other members are leading to good relationships and definite avenues for mutual business. I have also attended a worthwhile training session (included in the membership fees, along with other training sessions) which has given me some great insights into how to get the most from BNI. The key thing to note is that this is all about building for the long term, not just selling to the room and making a quick buck.

In my short time as a member, I have already been passed two warm and good quality referrals which I am hopeful of converting into profitable business. If you want to do more business, I recommend visiting a BNI meeting to find out more, whatever your profession.
